Travel Guide Curtin Springs

Curtin Springs is a gigantic cattle station, turned accommodation and tourist operator because of its location, on the road to Uluru but also right next to Fooluru, the country's second most photographed rock after Uluru! It's actually called Mount Conner, and is well worth a stop at the viewpoint along the Lasseter Highway. Curtin Springs offers camping sites, rooms and bungalows and a very good restaurant, more affordable than those in Uluru or Watarrka. Curtin Springs also organizes visits to Amadeus Salt Lake and Mount Conner, as well as to the paper mill, made from recycled local grass.
