The house is ideal if you want to spend some quiet time in the middle of nature. It is situated in a valley, next to the lively Hotenjka stream surrounded by pastures and woods. To the west there is a view of some of the highest peaks of the Julian Alps.

The house is built in a typical style (Idrija-Cerkno) on the foundations of the farmhouse of a century-old mill. The modern furnished interior is divided into four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room with dining room. The facilities provide comfortable accommodation and include a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven and bathtub. There is a fireplace that gives the house a warm and romantic atmosphere.

Outside there is a terrace overlooking the Hotenjka stream and an orchard. You can rent two mountain bikes as the location is ideal for mountain biking. You can also go hiking; a few minutes drive away is the Idrijca River where you can find many fishing and swimming spots. There is also a chance for hunting organized with the local hunting association.

Nearby are the towns Tolmin, Cerkno and Idrija, where you can taste local cuisine and learn about the history of the nearby area (you can visit the remains of the second largest mercury mine, follow the military front paths from Soča or drive towards Bohinj and then Bled on a motorail). For adventure lovers, there are several possibilities for water sports and paragliding. In winter you can visit a nearby ski resort of Cerkno.
