ALPINE PASTURE HOUSE

This interactive museum was created to provide an overview of alpine agropastoral life. It presents pastoral culture and the ecological and sustainable aspects of these ancestral practices. It also covers topics such as alpine pasture life, alpine flora, the Valle d'Aosta cattle breed and more. A short film explains how milk is transformed into cheese, and visits are also organized to the surrounding mountain pastures. It's the perfect place to find out how the famous and delicious fontina cheese is made!
