RANDONNÉE REFUGE BARMASSE ET LAC DE CIGNANA

Start in front of the Maquignaz bar. Take the road to the left leading to the cemetery, passing it before turning left onto path^no. 6. After 20 min, the path becomes Haute Voie 1, passing the Frazione di Valmartin and continuing uphill to Promoron and then Felegnon, with its typical old, uninhabited houses. At the fork in the road, take the mule track on the right to reach the Barmasse refuge (open in summer) and Lake Cignana, from where you can see the Grand Tournalin.
