SENTIER DE CHENEIL AU SANCTUAIRE DE CLAVALITÉ

Start: Cheneil, 2,088 m. Finish: Clavalité sanctuary, 2,525 m (ascent 473 m). Duration: 1h30.

Take trail^no. 31 (Haute Voie^no. 1) to a crossroads. Leave the HV1 and continue on trail^no. 31 to the right, which leads to the Col de Fontaine Froide. From here, turn left and climb up to the Sanctuary, built in 1970 and dedicated to San Domenico Savio. The panorama of the Matterhorn and the Grandes Murailles is breathtaking! You can also leave from Chamois.
