MUSEO ARQUEOLÓGICO Y ANTROPOLÓGICO

Created in 1992 and known as the MAACS (Museo Arqueológico y Antropológico de Casablanca), this museum exhibits important archaeological pieces that are part of the cultural heritage of the municipality and the region. Its collection includes ceramic pieces belonging to the pre-Columbian Batro culture and other remains found in the Quintay, Lo Ovalle and Porvenir areas. The museum also traces the more modern history of the city (photographs, newspapers...).
