THE POTTERS OF A'ALI

The pottery artisans of A'Ali are installed at the foot of the royal tumulus. They perpetuate techniques very similar to those used by the inhabitants of Dilmun. They have been handed down from father to son for generations. The result is very similar to the artifacts in the National Museum. You can watch the potters at work, sitting cross-legged, busily at their wheels. The pottery is fired in traditional wood-fired kilns.
