EX HACIENDA CINCO SEÑORES

Further along the road are the ruins of the imposing hacienda Cinco Señores, one of the largest and most emblematic in the area, which exploited some 50 mines over 45 hectares. Built in 1889 by five Europeans, the metal was extracted and processed on site: the magnificent buildings give an idea of the wealth extracted from the subsoil. In the village center, near the church, guides offer tours of the site.
