TEA - TOLEDO ECOTURISM ASSOCIATION

This cooperative organizes all ecotourism activities in a dozen Mayan villages: Laguna, Blue Creek, Pueblo Viejo, San Jose, Barranco, San Miguel, San Antonio, San Pedro Columbia and Santa Elena/Santa Cruz. The principle is simple: accommodation is provided by small community hotels or families, so that everyone can benefit from this welcome financial windfall in this part of the world. The same goes for meals, guides and cultural exchanges.
