ST CHRISTOPHER'S HOTEL

Named in honor of the patron saint of travelers, this hotel is basic but comfortable, and you can choose fan or air-conditioning depending on the price. Some rooms have shared balconies overlooking the river. Kayaks and paddle-boards are available for hire at certain times, as is a volleyball court. Excursions to Lamanai and other sites in the region can also be planned according to your wishes. The welcome is more homely than at the Hotel de la Fuente, but the service is a little slower.
