And despite the simple setting and sober decor, the food at Oscar Amparo Gutierrez's welcoming establishment is very good indeed. Dishes blend Belizean and Mestizo inspirations, with a particular emphasis on seafood. Lobster is often on the menu, as is a beautiful fish soup in coconut juice inspired by hudut garifuna. A must for those stopping off for a few days in Orange Walk.
