POSTE-FRONTIÈRE DE BRNJAK/BËRNJAK

This border crossing (Granični prelaz Brnjak, Vendkalimi kufitar Bërnjak) connects Kosovo with Serbia. It provides access to the Serbian villages of Lake Gazivode, and then to the city of Novi Pazar (population 60,000). It is also a good way to get to Montenegro (26 km southwest). About 1 km after the border crossing, at the Serbian hamlet of Vitkoviće (population 30), the Brnjak bridge connects to the Kosovar side of the lake, but it is reserved for local residents.
