KUNCHUKULAM HANGING BRIDGE

15 km south of Madhu, the steel suspension bridge of Kunchukulam is a curiosity! It was built to allow the villagers to cross the river in safety. Be very careful, especially with children, if you cross it; it is in quite bad condition, it sways a bit, and several parts are rusty. It is nevertheless a pleasant visit, as the nature surrounding it is superb. The locals come here for picnics. Beware of monkey thieves.
