Simple, homey and traditional local cuisine in a very cosy restaurant in Linthal.
In the pretty little village of Linthal lies a place with an equally charming name: Auberge la Vallée des Tilleuls. It's quiet and welcoming, just what you'd expect from a restaurant of this type. The cuisine is simple, family-style, with local traditions guiding the chef's steps. Our specialties include calf's head, cordon-bleu and snails. A tasty specialty to savor on a good day is the sauerkraut with five cochonnailles, generous as can be. In a more sober vein, bouchées à la reine or magret de canard aux morilles are also delicious. Remember the old-fashioned sauerkraut served with snails and spaetzle, and you'll have a good idea of what's on offer here: Alsace, with a capital A.
Accueil assez froid et repas sans grand intérêt
Je recommande.
