Panama Bambú is one of the largest real estate agencies in the Azuero Peninsula. His founder, Philippe Athanatiades, is a visionary French who left his native country long ago. After bourlinguing in Africa and Brazil, this multifaceted entrepreneur was one of the first foreigners to take an interest in this region of Panama. In the early 1990 s, he bought a thousand hectares of land in the Pedasi region, to reforcize them with over 250,000 teak trees and other tropical species.
