Finally, one of the world leaders in the manufacture of motor yacht, opens its doors to visitors!
The plant has been in the same location since 1842. Huge, the yards spread over a surface of over 36 000 m 2, of which 17 000 m 2 are covered. Through an extremely careful journey, the visitor discovers the different production phases and all the inimitable details of the creation of the boats: the choice of precious wood, the drawing of the lines, the cutting, the assembly, the 24 hands of varnish, the way the nails are planted and so on. Heart of the visit, La Plancia, office of engineer Carlo Riva who drew it himself. A photographic and film retrospective illustrates the presence of Riva at the cinema and in history. Visiting the Chantiers sites allows you to discover the industrial excellence and craftsmanship of a historic company, the Made in Italy champion for almost two centuries.
