Built in 1966, this hut is located in the south-east of the Mulanje plateau at an altitude of 1,820 metres. It is built above a lovely stream with waterfalls and natural pools, perfect for a dip. There are two bedrooms, one with a fireplace. Madzeka Hut sleeps 12. The hut is well placed for climbing Manène (2,650 m) and nearby peaks. Access from the Lujeri area, via the Little Ruo trail, takes around three hours.
