This establishment, whose main building was once the residence of the district commissioner in colonial times, boasts a lovely swimming pool flanked by a bar where traditional music concerts are held at weekends, and simple but well-equipped rooms set on the first slopes of Mulanje. The lodge 's location should delight sports enthusiasts (the Boma path, , which leads up to the massif, starts here) and contemplators (synoptic view over the countryside and its tea plantations and over the eminences jutting out from the Mozambican plain).

Trop chère, 150$, pour un service médiocre !
Bien que la situation de l'hôtel soit excellente avec une belle vue, l'hébergement est médiocre pour un prix injustifié.
Une chambre avec seulement une ampoule au plafond, pas de lampe de chevet, un kit pour le thé sans bouilloire, une salle de bain microscopique où il faut enjamber le wc pour accéder à la douche et pas d’eau chaude, une serviette de toilette minuscule et élimée…
Un restaurant très moyen où il faut attendre 45mn pour être servi, malgré le peu de client, pour le dîner et un petit déjeuner buffet à peu près correct.
Ajouter à cela, un gérant plus ou moins honnête, qui débarque en soirée pour m’annoncer que je devais payer la totalité du séjour, prétextant qu’il n’avait pas eu l’acompte de Safari Now (site de réservation). Safari Now, irréprochable, qui a envoyé un mail le matin suivant indiquant que j’avais bien réglé la somme…
Le plus mauvais rapport/qualité prix de mon séjour au Malawi, donc je ne conseille pas cet établissement.
