PARROQUIA NUESTRA SEÑORA DEL CARMEN

Built in the th century, the church has a style of neo-Gothic style that emerges from structures carved in wood. The walls are of brick and talpetate (sandblasted land). The earthquake in 2001 devastated the parish. If the walls still stand, the facade collapsed. Visitors and parishioners are being assessed to assist in its reconstruction. Efforts are paid as the facade has been rebuilt.
