GLACIAR PÍA - AVENIDA DE LOS GLACIARES

On the Beagle Channel is the Bay of Pia and its imposing glacier of the same name. A mastodon that will crush you from its shadow of ice, a hundred meters high. At the end of 2016, an international team of 17 scientists went to the glacier to carry out a study: global warming explains its retreat of about 10 metres each year. You can still come and contemplate it during cruises organised on the fjords of Tierra del Fuego.
