Ehrhardt desserts are first and foremost a family story, Alsace and ice cream. Since its beginnings as a ice factory in the 1980 s, small businesses have opened up to pastry, increased the number of its plants, opened a R & D center to become a real «glacier creator». In 2017, Ehrhardt made the choice of direct selling by opening an atypical space to Kingersheim in an industrial and contemporary spirit. The room is divided between a commercial part where all the frozen desserts of the house can be purchased and a part of the tea room or one tasting ice cuts, cakes accompanied by tea/coffee/hot chocolate, but also milkshakes and smoothies made locally.

Good food requires good ingredients. This is true for all the gastronomies in the world and Italy is on top. With this axiom and a solid experience in restoration, Antonio Passasseo started the adventure in 1988. Located in Kingersheim and surrounded by three children Barbara, Paola and Massimo it continues its path by proposing no less than 3,000 transalpine products, food for the vast majority: wines, cheeses, pizzas, fine groceries and almost 200 references for pasta alone. A veritable institution in the Mulhouse region since 1960, the Bruntz chocolate factory carries on the tradition of excellence of its three founding brothers with unwavering passion. The company's signature product is the kugelhopf-shaped truffle. Almost as famous, the koala-shaped lollipops in white, dark or milk chocolate will delight young and old alike. Kingersheim is resolutely a fertile territory for civic ideas that cross utopia to live on a daily basis. Since July 2008 and the first edition of the Six Feet on Earth eco-citizen festival, always faithful to its objective - to live well together, in a social mix, intergenerational and participatory democracy -, the association has opened its living space in a former textile factory, where people enjoy meeting and exchanging ideas. The same place is home to a restaurant, a café-theatre, an organic grocery store, a Wednesday farmers' market and an exhibition hall. The educational vegetable garden, around Marc Hoffmann, is not very far away and contributes greatly to the life of the Sheds.
