Travel Guide Nausori Highlands

Not to be confused with the town of Nausori located on the east coast, near Suva, this is the "Fijian hinterland" and more precisely the hilly and dry stretches of the interior of the west coast of Viti Levu. They offer a very nice and soothing sight. More or less dry or green, this wilder and more isolated hinterland offers a panorama of a unique beauty in Fiji. You can go for a day walk in this wonderful nature and have lunch in a village lost in the middle of the mountains, or go through the region by 4x4, essential in this country with its rugged terrain and difficult inland roads.
