HUKVALDY CASTLE (HRAD)

It is the ruins of a fortress of the th century, one of the largest ensembles of its kind in Moravia. The walls of the Gothic building are still proudly standing. You can visit a historical exhibition, which tells the story of the castle. From the top of the ramparts, the view is superb on the hills. Hukvaldy is known to the Czechs, for inspiring the composer Leoš Janáček.
