CASTLE OF BEČOV NAD TEPLOU (ZÁMEK)

On the road to Karlovy Vary, it is seen by far with its medieval part attached to a rocky outcrop. The medieval castle (1400 th century), connected to the other castle by a Renaissance wing, is closed to the public for renovation but it does not spoil the visit of the Baroque castle (th century), gardens on the terrace and especially precious frescoes of the Visitation-de-la-Virgin () chapel. The highlight of the visit is the Romanesque reliquary of Saint-Maur (v .1200), discovered in 1985. Sixty specialists participated in the restoration of this treasure, which was classified just behind the jewels of Bohemia's crown.

Museum of toys and motorcycles (české hračky a muzeum historických motocyclů). On the main street. Contact: www.historicke-moto.cz. A very modest museum but with nice pieces of collection. For lovers and large children.
