SANDALS ROYAL BAHAMIAN

The holiday begins once you have passed the impressive Georgian facade of the hotel. The Duke and Duchess of Windsor had made this place a high society landmark under the name "Balmoral Club" in the 1940s. It has been converted into a hotel, but the general structure and period objects remain. On one side, picturesque cottages open onto shady gardens, palm trees and a swimming pool. Facing the sea is the Balmoral Tower. The rooms and suites all have a balcony, they are well appointed and the furnishings are sober and elegant.
