Do you know the little name of the cercopithecus ascagne (a monkey that abounds in the box where the lodge nests) in luganda? No ? Well, it is nkima ! In addition to this omnipresent primate, the place, perched on a prominence, is also popular with birds and butterflies. The rooms, clean and pleasant, are equipped with a balcony drowned in a luxuriant vegetation. A small swimming pool, a good restaurant (where non-Nkima guests can eat for 40,000 Ush) and excellent hospitality complete the picture.

Une étape inoubliable
Les bungalows construits à bonne distance les uns des autres en pleine forêt disposent chacun d’une terrasse offrant une vue imprenable sur les arbres alentours très fréquentés par de nombreux oiseaux et des singes. L’environnement de cet hôtel est exceptionnel de par son cadre, sa situation, sa richesse faunique et l’ambiance bienveillante qui s’en dégage. Le parc est très étendu, il surplombe le marais de Mabamba et permet de belles balades. Cet hôtel est incontournable pour les amoureux des papillons et des oiseaux. Le personnel est d’une extrême gentillesse, les repas sont très bons avec du pain fait maison. C’est un bel espace de liberté où il fait bon vivre, observer et écouter. Un des must de notre voyage en Ouganda. Nous le recommandons vivement.
