The city's central railway station is just north of the ramparts. The fast train box is located right on the right side of the station, on the esplanade. For trains of all kinds, the box office is out on the left.
At the beginning, there are several trains/Day for Beijing (14 hours Drive), Datong (16 hour drive), Pingyao (8 to 10 h drive) or more distant destinations such as Shanghai (15 h to 20 h drive) or Lhasa (30 h).

Service
Very impressive the square Station, we arrive at 6:30 in the morning and it was as in the day! Not panic, no irritation because you are pushed (if you have up to now you already took to practice... Chinese pushes it is!) If you need to take a taxi, there is a special stop on the right of the station, difficult to have it elsewhere, experienced! We recommend the city or place TO written in Chinese because taxis are very few with speak English.
