Travel Guide Bermejo

Located 45 km from Samaipata, the small village of Bermejo is the southern gateway to the Parque Nacional Amboró, the starting point to the Serranía of the volcanoes on the one hand, and the Volcano lagoon on the other hand. The sub-Andean landscapes are superb. Bermejo is dominated by a gigantic reddish rock, called the resting place of the guerrillas. Che and his companions would indeed have occupied the place at a certain time. Some basic accommodation is available in the village if you wish to stop off.
