OKAROHOMBO CAMPSITE

This basic camp, located in the Marienfluss valley on the banks of the Kunene River and thus facing Angola, is run by the local Himba community. Basic, it just offers common toilets and showers (hot water with solar energy, when it works). But we don't ask for much more, because the setting is simply magical. On the program: observation of desert wildlife (springbok, gemsbok, ostriches) and birds, many walking trails (watch out for crocodiles in the river, it's not a joke!).
