Small village of about thirty inhabitants, where there used to be a hospice next to the bridge of Romanesque origin. This bridge, which dates from the 12th century, is formed by three arches of unequal size (the central arch being predominant), and was greatly modified in the 1940s. Until recently, it was a local custom that on January 17, St. Anthony's Day, shepherds would pass their flocks under the bridge to protect them during the year. Inside the church of San Pedro, Irotz preserves an altar from the 16th century. Note that there is no accommodation on site, but a stop at the pretty terrace of the Irotz bar is a must.
