It is said that it is in this region that the oldest aboriginal culture of the country, called Catalan, developed. The place itself, isolated and therefore preserved, is pretty but it is rather difficult to access if you are not motorized. The Piedra Pintada is an imposing basaltic volcanic stone of a dozen meters in height which owes its name to its greenish color, lost in the middle of a park, engraved by the visitors of passage of which the oldest, a certain Villar, passed in 1883. There are three swimming pools, a campsite, a barbecue area, a place designed for families and overcrowded in summer.
