CERRO ESCONDIDO LODGE

Cerro Escondido Lodge is built in the middle of the primary forest and can host up to 20 people. It comprises wooden bungalows with 2 rooms (4 to 6 people) with private bathroom and a terrace overlooking the forest. A large common hall can accommodate about people. The whole is solar energy; organic waste is buried, other recycled. Vegetarian and typical meals based on local products.

Trails lead to the peninsula and the Gulf of Nicoya. A mirador, built at the top point of the reserve, allows you to admire the splendid panorama of the Gulf. Excursions are organised with local guides to discover the fauna and flora of the reserve (group of 15 people max.). Horseback riding also.

The rise in tourism activity allows the local population to provide for their needs. The association also promotes environmental awareness, including the sorting of waste, among populations.
