ASEPALECO

The Karen Mongensen Wildlife Reserve is managed by the Ecological Association of Paquera, Lepanto, Cóbano (ASEPALECO), an association whose mission is the conservation of the environment and the education of the population, founded in 1991 in Jicaral (Puntarenas). Possibility to stay at Cerro Escondido lodge.

Volunteer. Minimum stay of 22 days. You will stay in a local family, the opportunity to learn Spanish and learn more about the nature surrounding you, the flora and fauna. Registration and information by mail.
