The indigenous reserve of Keköldi is managed by the indigenous organization Wak Ka Koneke, which is committed to sustainable development and conservation of natural resources. It covers a surface area of 3 583 hectares within a residential area of tropical rainforest. Almost 30% of the reserve has the characteristics of the primary forest.
