Near the village of Dekhbaland, about fifty kilometers from Navoi in the direction of Nourata, is one of the country's most important pilgrimage sites, more for believers than for tourists. A legend says that one of Mohammed's wives was from there, which would explain the presence of the symbolic tombs of his twin sons, Hussein and Hassan. A first mosque was built in 1246, to house the two long white tombs of Imam Hassan and Imam Hussein. It was renovated in the 2000s as well as the small adjoining mosque. To get there, you have no choice but to pay a cab (negotiate well the round trip).
