This archaeological museum is the oldest on the island, opened in 1987. Dedicated to the history and culture of the Marquesas, we can observe several handicrafts: umete, paddles, tikis, mortuary canoes, bracelets, sperm whale teeth, adzes, as well as various photos of traditional life. A short but interesting visit. If it is closed during your visit, please check with the island's Tourism Committee.
