PENSION LEYDJ
In the tiny village of Hakahetau, quietly alangui on the edge of a very beautiful bay (the pitons make up an admirable background), this pension offers three comfortable, modern and impeccable rooms (good bedding): two have a matrimonial bed, another one also has a single bed. Common bathroom (hot water), large lounge-museum (many sculptures on stone) and terrace from where the view kisses a good part of the bay. The reception of Thérèse is pleasant and the cuisine of Célestine enchants (lobster in the menu when the sea is calm). Excursions are proposed: hiking at the foot of legendary Poumaka or along the ferry (4 to 5 hours walk), 4 x 4 excursions to the day… It is very well located, the surroundings are beautiful (waterfall where one can swim within one hour walk from Hakahetau). Recommended.
