Charming, value-for-money guesthouses in Hakahau.

Three tiled rooms with shared sanitary facilities (hot water), and two pretty bungalows with private sanitary facilities in the garden, larger, quieter and above all more charming (but there is no hot water). The whole thing is very clean. You can eventually make your own meals in a makeshift kitchen. Dora is a warm and pleasant host, and her cuisine is very pleasing so as not to spoil anything: don't leave without having tasted her famous taro flan! A good address at this price, a bit high up in the village.

I had the great opportunity to be 2 weeks there and half and it was a pure happiness. There, time stops. One is steeped in culture marquesan. The meals are very friendly, moments of exchange, advice (thank you for our guests), discovery and especially diners. Fara, Gold and Yvonne prepare us feasts every evening and result sets, you leave with a few pounds more):
You quickly forget the showers with cold water in the bungalows, because you do not want to waste your time to stay under the shower! So many beautiful things to be discovered on Ua Pou.
It is very strongly I encourage you to discover Ua Pou and stay at Golden, you will not back without a small pinching in the middle.

the pension at Golden is very pleasant, calm prevails, the bungalows are very clean. One lives in Marquesan, meals are to meet people passing through. Farah and Dora are very good advice and support your stay, they are very welcoming people.
