200 kilometres west of Tunis and 17 km from Ghardimaou, El-Feidja National Park (2 632 ha) has an integral protection area of 174 hectares for the preservation of Cerf deer. It also has about species of mammals, birds and reptiles. The forest, made up of Zen oaks and cork chènes, represents 90% of the park surface. Its zénaie is considered by several botanists to be one of the most beautiful in the world.
