The National Park André-Félix was the first park to create the independence of the Central African Republic in 1960. On an area of 1 700 km ², it is located on the north-east side of the border with Sudan.Covered with wooded savanes, it hosts a rich and varied fauna. The main animal species we encounter today in this region are elephants, lions, panthers, buffles, giraffes, crocodiles, ostriches, and hippos. Note that a significant population of warthogs lives in the park.At present, and because of the lack of resources by the Central African State, this package unfortunately does not enjoy sufficient protection and is suffering from poaching.
