RELIGIOUS TEMPLE OF MITHRA-ROZANEC

Established in the village of Rožanec, 4 km north of Črnomelj, it is one of the most interesting archaeological monuments in the region. There is a bas-relief of Mithras depicting his sacrifice of a bull. The work would probably date from the end of the 2nd century.
