FIESTA NACIONAL DE LA ESQUILA

During the month of January, in the town of Rio Mayo, the National Shearing Festival celebrates Patagonian traditions. Between sheep and guanacos shearing, rodeos, gaucho parades and folkloric dances, the city is in celebration! Visitors will be able to appreciate the skill and speed that characterize the local shearers. The most daring can even take part in the competition in which the best time of shearing must be achieved. All activities are carried out with animal welfare in mind.
