To the north of Borissoglebski lies the land of the Grafschina. Voschazhnikovo is the most important village in this area and takes its name from the wax(vosk), a centuries-old trace of beekeeping. In the south of the village, you can see the bricks of the old candle factory and the huge wooden house for its managers. The oldest monument in the village is the 17th century Church of the Nativity, of which only two buildings remain from the early 18th century, when the nearby Trinity Church was built.
