The Costa Rican chief Randy Siles opened its first restaurant on Saturday, March 23rd, in Santa Teresa on the Pacific coast OS is a small, intimate, minimalist, fresh and neat restaurant, in which the reporters of Le Petit Futé had the honour of discovering in preview some of the creations of this whimsical gastronomic artist. With an atypical background and a generous personality (he founded the Artesanos de la Gastronomía Academy, which trains young people in social difficulties in the food industry), Chef Randy is an ambassador for the national plan for healthy and sustainable gastronomy in Costa Rica, and was named in 2018 as one of the great Latino creative talents by the prestigious Forbes magazine, following his induction into the International White Toquesin France last June (the only chef in Central America). This restaurant is a new challenge for this self-taught chef who surprises us with a bold fusion and molecular cuisine, mixing Latin, French and Asian flavours with excellent local products, in the philosophy of kilometre 0
