RABAUL-KOKOPO DIVE

Without a doubt one of the best diving centres in the country. Able to deliver PADI training, RKD divers know the region's seabed like the back of their hand. Most of the interesting reefs are near Rabaul, but it is also possible to organize dives all over New Britain. Many wrecks from the two world wars lie around Kokopo. In 2017, the RKD team helped to recover the wreck of an Australian submarine sunk by the German navy in 1915.
