Located on the river Korosameri, tributary of the Karawari River which flows into the Sepik, Mameri is a tiny village at the entrance of Blackwater lakes. The craft is the same as that of Kaminimbit, of which Mameri is a Émanation. There is a very convenient guesthouse to visit the lakes.
