Temple dedicated to Buddha and built by Jayavarman VII in the late century, one of Angkor's most peaceful temples
Left as it was by the archaeologists who discovered it, in the middle of the forest, with its giant cheese trees crushing the gopuras, Ta Nei is one of the most peaceful temples of Angkor! Away from the main tourist circuits and therefore very little visited, we go there by the first small path that is on the left after Ta Keo, on the road to Ta Prohm. Built by Jayavarman VII at the end of the 12th century, the temple is dedicated to Buddha. All that remains is to let yourself be lulled by the sounds of the jungle and the bewitching beauty of the place.

The best at Angkor and around
