Temple dedicated to Vishnu in the form of Venkateswara, who is said to have spent 6 months in the sanctuary on the banks of the river
This temple is dedicated to Vishnu in the form of Venkateswara. The four-armed idol stands in the shrine. Venketaswara is said to have spent 6 months here on the banks of the Kalyani river after his marriage to the goddess Padmavathi. Newlyweds flock here to participate in the various ritualistic stages of marriage. This ceremony is held every day except during the festivals of Brahmotsavam and Sakshatra Vaibhavam and during solar and lunar eclipses.
