BAN KEE CAFE

This typical canteen is one of the highlights of Bintulu for those who want to eat at a lower cost. On the menu, fish, shellfish and dishes prepared in the Chinese way. Sautéed crab, mussels cooked with chilli and soy sauce, steamed fish served on a stove, everything is very fresh and quite good. We sit under the corrugated iron canopy around a large round plastic table. Serve your meal with iced tea or beer as the locals do. It's unpretentious, no fuss, but quite pleasant.
