The elephant orphanage is one of the tourist attractions in the area. This institution houses about 70 elephants of different ages. Apart from those born in captivity, most of them are crippled or orphaned. The youngest elephants are bottle-fed several times a day. However, many voices are raised against the poor treatment of the pachyderms. In addition, the entrance fee is exorbitant, better to visit a national park.

Very touristy, it became a permanent show... 2 to 3 babies, to justify the orphanage: I did not hang a: a safari jeep in about an almost equivalent price: you will see elephants in freedom.

Offers very friendly, pachyderms (between 1 month and adulthood) but nomadic young people who tend to excavate your pockets with their horn and has to try to take camera or luggage and believe me even young an elephant calf it is gaillard!
